Join local police, fire and service organizations for Snohomish National Night Out on Aug. 1 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Snohomish Boys & Girls Club.
National Night Out is an annual community event that promotes public safety and partnerships that make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out gives neighbors and public safety providers a chance to get to know one another in a positive environment.
Public safety and fun activities for kids and families are the focus. There will be fire trucks, police cars and music. The Snohomish Lions will provide free hot dogs. The Snohomish Kiwanis will fit children under 10 with bicycle helmets.
Other vendors are encouraged to participate, including local clubs, youth organizations, and businesses. No selling is allowed – just information and activities.
Space fees are: free for nonprofits, $10 for businesses, and $500 for political organizations or candidates. Vendors must supply their own tables and chairs. Reservation deadline is July 15.
