Lynn Schilaty

Lynn Schilaty was elected to the Council in November 2007. Lynn was born and raised in Snohomish and, along with her husband, Alex de Soto, is a 1981 Snohomish High School graduate. She graduated from the University of Washington and earned a law degree from the University of Puget Sound, School of Law. After working and living in both Seattle and London, England, Lynn and Alex moved back to Snohomish to raise a family. Lynn currently works from home caring for their three children, Emma, Ethan and Eli.

Lynn is pleased the City of Snohomish is being redefined as a progressive, proactive and viable city that wants to expand its commercial development potential while valuing its history and environment. She supports managed growth and wants to make decisions that reflect our heritage while meeting the needs of our citizens now and well into the future.
