Work with a developer, residents and the County to plan for the expansion of the City’s northern Urban Growth Area.

Take a leading role to implement excursion and commuter train services as well as recreational trail development on the Eastside Rail Corridor.

Continue to take the lead in implementing transportation improvements on State Route 9 and supporting improvements on US 2.

Continue to work closely with the City’s Economic Development Committee and support economic development in Snohomish.

Create a new financial strategy to enhance revenues through improved communications and partnerships with farmers, businesses and residents in the areas outside of the City that are considered part of “greater Snohomish.”

Develop a strategy to make Community Revitalization Areas productive and effective.

Look for opportunities to develop new hotels to increase lodging capacity.

Continue to look for grant funding for wastewater system improvements.
