residents and the County to plan for the expansion of the City’s
northern Urban Growth Area. |

Take a leading role to
implement excursion and commuter train services as well as recreational
trail development on the Eastside Rail Corridor. |

Continue to take the
lead in implementing transportation improvements on State Route 9 and
supporting improvements on US 2. |

Continue to work
closely with the City’s Economic Development Committee and support
economic development in Snohomish.

Create a new financial
strategy to enhance revenues through improved communications and
partnerships with farmers, businesses and residents in the areas outside
of the City that are considered part of “greater Snohomish.” |

Develop a strategy to
make Community Revitalization Areas productive and effective.
|

Look for opportunities
to develop new hotels to increase lodging capacity.
|
|
Continue to look for
grant funding for wastewater system improvements. |
