The River and Railroad made Snohomish a
business hub in the 1800s.
Now it is the Quality of Life and an Educated
Workforce
that make Snohomish a great place to do business.

Quality of Life
Founded in 1859, Snohomish still retains the flavor of its'
heritage. Great People, Tourism, Antiques, Shopping, Community
Events, Parks, Water and River Access are a few of the many reasons
Snohomish is a great place to live.
Snohomish is blessed with a diverse well educated work force. The Snohomish
school district is committed to the success of its' students and the
community. There are several close by schools of higher education.
The Snohomish
Library was featured in a March 2008 USA Today article "Ten
great places to find a nook and read a book"!
Transportation
Snohomish is just far enough out of the way that your employees will
actually get to work on time, but Snohomish is still close enough to
all of the major Puget Sound hubs that your delivery trucks will not
become long haul trucks.
Snohomish has situated its' utilities well for growth. The City's
water and sewer are maintained by the City and both have additional
capacity. The City of Snohomish is also a major power hub for
the B.P.A. and Snohomish P.U.D.. Local phone and DSL services are provided
by Frontier Communications, additional Internet connectivity and
fractional T1s are available through Integra Telecom. Broadband
cable is
provided by Comcast.
