City of Snohomish Gets
Second Radar Trailer Unit
The Police Department has received sufficient donations
from citizens to purchase a second radar trailer unit. Marysville Paving
began a fund raising project. Harold Jordon contacted Marvin Thomas of
Top Soils NW whose company provided the funds to be able to purchase
this second unit. Pictured are Mr. Thomas and his brother met presenting
the City with a check which will fund the purchase.

The second unit will be used in complaint areas as well
as placing it daily at differing school locations to make drivers aware
of their speed. Past experience has shown this device to be an effective
tool to slow speed to posted limits in these areas.
